Raceland Gold Edition made by Spark. Exclusive model.

For young Franconian racer Jochen Dauer the Nuremberg Norisring was the closest race track nearby and a very good chance to acquire regional sponsorship for the yearly 200 Mile Race in front of the big crowds. Between 1977 and 1981 he had been there already with private entries of BMW and Ford touring cars for the German Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft. But in 1983 he stepped into sportscar racing in the cockpit of Dr. Siegfried BrunnÛs Porsche 908/3 Turbo. It was the same car Brunn Racing had entered the year before with John Paul jr. who had finished sixth.

In 1983 the Group 6 sportscars fell behind the new Group C constructions so Brunn Racing fitted a new 2.6 litre turbo engine to chassis #011 to keep in touch. The debut race at Brands Hatch was promising when Derek Bell and team owner Siegfried Brunn won the Easter Monday Thundersports race. Competition at the Norisring 200 Miles was much stronger, though, with Gr. C entries like Porsche 956, 936C and Sehcar C6. Jochen Dauer finished in 6th place, a fine result for the fastest Gr. 6 car on the track.
