Special exclusive model for Team Car Collection.
Despite the success of Germany’s new GT3 DTM the German ADAC GT Masters series has lost none of its popularity in 2021. 33-year-old civil engineer Florian Spengler has been one of the regular amateurs of the championship for years. Supported by local sponsors and the parental Spengler business – one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of concrete safety elements for motorways and race tracks – the Swabian was joined by fellow countryman and Audi pro Markus Winkelhock, one of the most successful Audi R8 LMS GT3 drivers over the past ten years. A perfect Pro-Am combination for the #69 car prepared and serviced in 2021 by Team Car Collection.
After a tenacious start into the new season the third round at Zandvoort brought a 7th position and the first top ten finish in the Sunday race. Although the rest of the season became an emotional rollercoaster with mixed results, Florian Spengler became 2021 ADAC GT Masters trophy winner, the class that is reserved to the amateurs on the grid, ahead of Elia Erhart and Rolf Ineichen.
